Kristiansand has good connections to the Norwegian cities: Flights to Stavanger, Bergen and Oslo and train to all southern cities. Kristiansand has flights to Copenhagen and Amsterdam and ferry to Hirtshals. Agder folkehøgskole is located in Søgne kommune (municipality) just west of Kristiansand. How to find the school:

How to find Agder fhs
By Car
Westbound from Kristiansand: Drive E-39 towards Stavanger approx. 13 km. You will pass the village Brennåsen. Take the next turn-off at Tangvall towards Vågsbygd and Søgne.
Eastbound from Mandal: Drive approx. 28 km towards Kristiansand, along E-39. You will pass the turn-off to Lunde and then take next turn-off, at Tangvall, towards Vågsbygd and Søgne.
Further from Tangvall: Drive road no. 456 towards Vågsbygd. After approx 5 km, still on 456, you will see a signpost to the school.
If you are using GPS: The address is Høgskoleveien 49 (25 for the conference centre) 4640 Søgne. Remark: The street numbers was changed autumn 2007. For older GPS -use Høgskoleveien 3. Coordinates: 58° 4'54.00"N, 7°50'35.00"E

The school is situated between two bus routes (see PDF Map), between the stops Stokkelandskogen and Årosskogen. Its is a 7 minutes’ walk from the stops to the school.
Stokkelandsskogen (close to Langenes): You will see the signpost to the school - just follow this direction.
Årosskogen: A turnaround. Walk the foot path which extends the turnaround, through a small residential area until you can spot the school.

Kristiansand Airport is Kjevik. Flights to Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Kjevik has shuttle buses to the city. Get off at the bus station. See By Bus for further information.
